The young man Andrea Cola took pole position in Q1 followed by his countrymen Benalli, Pereg and Brajnik. Switzerland’s Pellegrino was fifth in front of Raser. The first driver who does not use the F3 was seventh Bartek Mirecki with a two-liter Formula Renault.
Q2 won Alessandro Bracalente in front of Q1 winner Cola. Behind them were Italians Benalli, Rasero, Perego, Brajnik and Milani.
