The first race of single seaters this season has brought chaos and unfortunately an unpleasant crash during just first lap. In the afternoon, when the race was originally to take place, there was a collision of several cars caused by a formula standing still on the starting grid.
The red flagged race was “restarted” in the early evening. The battle of the formula eventually won the Italian Bracalente before the compatriots Cola, Brajnik, Benalli and Perego.
Bartek Mirecki finished sixth with Renault’s two-liter formula as a first non F3 car.
