How was the winter break for you?
This was a busy winter for Olimp Racing. With the last season end we have decided to focus on GT3 cars and finish with Porsche 911 GT3 Cup. There was also a question which GT3 car could be the best for us. There was a couple of tests days comparing available options. Finally we have decided to change the manufacturer. It is a big difference in every area of our racing activities. We had to rebuilt our workshop, change the equipment and develop some organisation to meet the new brand requirements. Very helpfull was Igor Salaquadra with I.S.R Racing team from Prague.
Where we will see you and with what machine?
I definitely finished with Cup cars and focus on GT3 this season. It was quite difficult to switch between cup and GT3 cars during the race weekends. I think it will bring a lot of positives and I could show a reasonable performance increase. Finally we also changed the car manufacturer. Specifically, the choice fell on brand new Audi R8 LMS. First tests performed in Catalunya this year were very promising and I hope that it will be a successful season. We are going to race in FIA CEZ series where we plan to participate in sprint and endurance races. Olimp Racing will perform with two cars, one with me behind the wheel and the other driven by my father – Stanislaw Jedlinski.
What are your targets for this year?
Well, it looks like we will meet some good friends from previous seasons in FIA CEZ but also some new strong competitors. I’am hungry for fierce fighting door to door, wheel to wheel racing. I Hope there will be a lot of emotions for the spectators! Of course we want to repeat the last season success with Sprint Championship title, but also Endurance competition is our target! It won’t be easy but we will do our best! Season opens with great event at Hungaroring so see you there!
