Josef Záruba returned to racing after one year brake and right away became a FIA CEZ champion. After many years behind a wheel of single seeters switched to closed cockpit of a Lamborghini Gallardo in the Brno team Micanek Motorsport. Successful season of this team confirmed Jiri Stransky as a vice champion in the D4-GTC class.
Josef Zaruba did not leave anybody doubting about his driving skills right from the beginning. He won in Hungary, came third on RedBull Ring and won again in Most. He had to fight very strong competition In Slovakia and Brno but he picked up enough points to collect his first FIA CEZ D4 GTC title anyway.
