Sandro Zeller managed to win two times in a row. The second formula race was expected to bring another exciting duel among Zeller and Šafář – who (also again) won the qualification.
However, Zeller did not give him any chance. He got the lead immediately after the start and Šafář just could not do anything about it for the rest of the race.
The third place was taken by Paolo Brajnik who left Regensperger (forth) and Cola (fifth) behind.
Kurt Böhlen arrived sixth, followed by Marcel Tobler and Josef Halwachs. János Magyar crossed the finish line as ninth in total but nonetheless, he won in D2-2000.
