Although Paolo Brajnik had won the qualification and gained the pole position, it was Bartolomiej Mirecki who was the happiest racer at the end of the first formula race of the season.
Mirecki was brilliant right after the start and he immediately beat his Italian opponent Brajnik. In fact, the difference between winner Mirecki and Brajnik who came second was only a half of a second but that was only because the drivers had to follow the safety car during the last lap. However, Brajnik still took the victory in F3.
The 3rd position was won by János Magyar, while Támas Ronai ended up 4th and Vladimír Netušil from Effective Racing team was 5th. There were three other drivers who lined up behind him. In detail, their names are: Antonín Sus, Václav Šafář and Petr Semerád.
