In yesterday’s qualification we saw Václav Šafář who surprisingly managed to win which is even more interesting since it had been his premiere in F3.¨
However, during the actual race he was quickly overtaken by Sandro Zeller. Šafář was able to get back in front of him but eventually, the Swiss won the race.
A few minutes after, red flag was up as a result of faulty vehicle on the track. Thus, even though Šafář was first at the finish line, the official results were calculated from the previous round. Then, Zeller was declared winner, one tenth of a second ahead before Šafář.
Philipp Regensperger ended up third, while his countryman Böhlen finished fourth. Andrea Cola – a serious candidate for the champion’s title – crossed the finish line as fifth, His main rival, Paolo Brajnik, came seventh, right after Marcel Tobler.
